The ambiance of Thomasina’s is another element that enhances the dining experience. Paulo Lucian Riess captures its charm by likening it to an Old West meets European vibe, complemented by strong coffee that is simply delightful. From spelt muffins to artisanal sandwiches, the menu is crafted with an emphasis on quality, and served in beautiful pottery mugs, adding a personal touch to your coffee experience.
Mack Benz aptly describes Thomasina's as an "absolute gem," emphasizing its local roots and the communal atmosphere that keeps patrons coming back. It's a perfect retreat from the generic franchise food options, providing a space where delicious, home-cooked meals shine. Geoff G underscores this sentiment by pointing out the cafe’s rich character—a blend of cozy charm and unpretentious warmth that draws you in and makes you feel right at home.

“ I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur, (snob) when it comes to breakfast and breakfast sandwiches. This menu called it an ‘Egger’ which absolutely does not do it justice; possibly THE best breakfast sandwich I have ever tasted! And the tea was as good as any British brewed cuppa! Maybe it was the weather, the fact that I’d just ridden through Manning Park on my motorcycle and was hungry, also maybe not - it was just the perfect 10/10. I WILL be back, thank you!!! ”
“ Friendly staff with some good food options. The Chicken Panini was excellent and the overall favourite. They also had some good Beef Pot Pies and their self serve water jug has refreshingly cool water. The kid sandwiches are extremely well priced with minimal size difference. If you're passing through Penticton it's worth the stop. ”
“ Great little cafe... Bit of an Old West meets Europe vibe. Good strong Americano, tasty spelt muffin, friendly professional staff... You gotta come off the main highways and have the best coffee between Vancouver and Calgary ”
“ Absolute gem of a spot in a small town (Princeton) off the highway #3 (Crows Nest). Delicious, well endowed sandwiches. Fresh bread and a communal atmosphere. A perfect pull-off to avoid the franchise genericism and have sustenance from a local small business owner. Wonderful service. ”
“ Excellent little cafe/restaurant. We were passing through Princeton, BC, on a long drive back to Vancouver and stopped for a coffee break. Instead, we extended our stop into lunch with delicious sandwiches with our coffee (served in nice pottery mugs). The place is full of character without being fussy and cutesy - although it's definitely cute! ”
“ At this quaint, cozy, friendly stop between the Okanagan and the Coast all baking is done in house except for croissants as the pastry from these comes from Paris. As well, we always enjoy their specially roasted coffee. ”
“ Stopped in for a quick lunch and coffee. Friendly staff and decent prices. Lots of local artisan products for sale too. So I bought a couple of candles. I'll def stop here again the next time I visit the interior. ”
“ Really super place for a bite to eat. We were on our way to Vancouver so a perfect stop over point. I had a lovely breakfast sourdough sandwich. ”
